Chair Classes

Through embracing of our individual abilities and utilizing
multiple options for every pose, my chair yoga classes
are truly for every age, shape, and mobility.
Using the Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga approach, my classes are a safe, supported, and inspiring place to expand and explore body awareness and gain physical fitness. Seniors, those in wheelchairs, and longtime yoga practitioners alike benefit from this safe and secure practice that is based on traditional mat poses.
Your heart, mind, and body are integrated, and any physical limitations or constraints you might have are acknowledged in my chair yoga class!
Learning chair modification allows you to do yoga anytime, at your desk or on a plane.
Seated yoga is a great outlet for all levels of practitioners!
Kid Classes
Classes are filled with fun activities, challenges, games, and music.
My kid classes are secular, researched based, and trauma informed
integration of yoga and SEL (social emotional learning).
For children, integrating all parts of their being often presents a steep learning curve, but it can also provide a rewarding and satisfying journey. If you don’t know what you feel, you don’t know what you need, and you have no idea what to do about it. Once kids are able to identify how they feel, they can begin to learn how to express and integrate those feelings with a sense of personal power.
Recognizing that every school and facility has its own challenges as to physical space and time constraints, we will work together to create a format and schedule that works best for your situation!
